In His Own Words
From a young age, the idea of being healthy was very important to me. However, it wasn’t until several family members began suffering health problems that I started taking a serious interest in medicine. My early curiosity led me to research my grandmother’s long list of medications to understand how they worked and what they were doing inside her body. To my surprise, many of the drugs she was taking had uncertain effectiveness and came with long lists of potential side effects.
These insights sparked my search for safer, more natural options for people suffering from chronic health problems. Two weeks before my university preferences were due, I visited a Chinese medicine clinic for a health issue I had been dealing with for two years. My GP had no answers, so I was open to another perspective. The Chinese doctor diagnosed the problem and resolved it within just two weeks using Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture. That experience changed everything. I added the five-year double degree in Chinese Medicine and Human Biology to my preferences.
In my final year, I had the opportunity to complete a full clinical internship at Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, where I passed exams across all major departments.
Since returning, I’ve continued refining my skills with some of the best practitioners in the world. My primary focus is to understand the underlying cause of a patient’s concerns and offer reliable, natural treatment approaches.
